Offseason rumors and speculation have started flying around. Even though Super Bowl Sunday is on the horizon, the other 30 teams in the league are looking at getting better.
After going 6-11 and missing the playoffs, the 49ers will be looking for some reinforcements. On Saturday, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported receiver Davante Adams would be open to joining the San Francisco 49ers if he was released by the New York Jets.
With that news being public knowledge, cornerback Deommodore Lenoir wasted no time recruiting Adams on social media. On his X account, Lenior tweeted, " @tae15adams what’s good ? Let’s chop it up at Taco Bell."

49ers News: Deommodore Lenoir Publicly Recruits Davante Adams
Lenoir didn't want to waste a second and would love to see Adams in a 49ers jersey. This is the second time this offseason that Lenoir made a public plea for a star player. This past week, Lenoir was publicly recruiting Myles Garrett on social media.
He decided to do the same on Saturday but with Adams this time.
Adams is still an elite route runner and weapon in the passing game. In 14 games between the Raiders and Jets, he finished 85 grabs for 1,063 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns.
If the 32-year-old was indeed released by the Jets, he would be a terrific addition for a 49ers team chasing a Super Bowl. In Adams' career, he has been a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time First-Team All-Pro selection.
With Brandon Aiyuk returning from a torn ACL and Deebo Samuel Sr. having an underwhelming 2024 season, the potential addition of a player like Adams would be huge.
He's the type of player that defenses hone in on, which opens things up for everyone else in the offense.
Lenoir understands the kind of player Adams is and wants it to be known that he wants him to join the 49ers if the opportunity presents itself.
It's funny that he used Taco Bell in his plea, since Adams is a spokesperson for the fast food chain. Adams has made it known that he loves Taco Bell, so that was a good first pitch by Lenior.
