49ers: Ranking the 3 easiest games on the 2020 schedule
2. The Miami Dolphins will visit San Francisco in Week 5. It could be the first time the 49ers see Tua Tagovailoa.
For the second time in three weeks, the 49ers will face a team Adam Gase is or was apart of. With a date against the Miami Dolphins, it’ll be another easy victory for the NFC Champs.
Even though Miami can randomly pull off wins, like upsetting the New England Patriots in the final week of 2019 and possibly being the reason the dynasty ended, the Dolphins still showed up with 11 losses.

Tanking for rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa might come back to haunt Miami if he’s forced to start against the 49ers defense. However, there’s more to the Niners than just defense.
The 49ers offense was one of the top units in the NFL last season. Miami’s defense? Right at the bottom.
Even though they lost wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to free agency, the Niners offense will be a threat with tight end George Kittle, running back Raheem Mostert and wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
This will certainly be a trap game for San Francisco, but they’re too well-rounded to let this game slip away.
