By Dalton Sell
3. February 3rd vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
Coming off a devastating loss to the divisional-rival Los Angeles Lakers, the Kings needed a bounce-back victory versus the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves to jolt their chase for the postseason.
De’Aaron Fox led the way for the Kings, finishing with a game-high 31 points throughout 34 minutes of play. The point guard was in command offensively, connecting on 10-of-16 shots from the field, an impressive 62.5 percent.

What was also noteworthy from Fox was his three-point shooting, going 3-for-4 from downtown on the night. Shooting in the low thirties percentage-wise on the season, it was great to see the guard miss only one shot from behind the arc.
Fox also got a boost from the free-throw line, connecting on 8-of-12 attempts. When he was not scoring, the guard was making plays elsewhere, collecting five assists, three rebounds, and two steals to add to his all-around performance that night.
The Kings went on to seal the victory 113-109 in a battle down to the wire, but a big win regardless. With Fox leading the way, Sacramento was playing stellar basketball and helped themselves climb higher in the standings as their playoff chase began to intensify.
