The Sacramento Kings’ 2019 free-agent class is a bit of a mixed bag in hindsight.
The Sacramento Kings spent a lot of money this past free agency and the results have been mixed. Today I will be grading these players on how well they have contributed to the team throughout the 2019-20 season.
These grades will be based specifically on how good of a signing each player has been, not the players overall ranking as an NBA player.
A player who has barely contributed and not lived up to expectations will get an F, with the scale working its way up to A+ — the perfect signing.
The Kings, being a small market team aren’t often the frontrunners to sign top free agents, so these grades are solely in relation to the Kings, no one else.
An A+ signing for the Kings is not going to compare to an A+ signing for the Los Angeles Lakers for example.
