San Francisco 49ers: Game-by-game predictions for the 2019 season
Week 10 (MNF): vs Seattle Seahawks
As with an early bye, a Thursday Night game means you don’t get much rest before the game, but you also get more rest going into your next one. Helping San Francisco even more, the Seahawks don’t have their bye until Week 11, meaning they’ll be playing for their 10th consecutive week.
Coming off back-to-back losses and a huge disappointment in Arizona, the 49ers will be on high alert and ready for Seattle. With that said, the Seahawks remain a formidable opponent. Russell Wilson is one of the five best quarterbacks in football, always keeping them within striking distance.
More from San Francisco 49ers
- 49ers sign new long snapper amidst a flurry of roster moves
- 49ers: George Kittle and Deebo Samuel cleared to return to practice
- 49ers expected to place DE Dee Ford on injured reserve
- 49ers sign TE Daniel Helm off the Buccaneers practice squad
- 49ers: Jordan Reed could miss up to two months, will be placed on IR
While Seattle will feel the loss of Frank Clark, adding Jadeveon Clowney will make it less noticeable, and general manager John Schneider’s draft history gives reason to believe he’s found some more contributors with his excess draft capital.
Still, the 49ers claw out a victory in a fantastic Monday Night Football affair.
Prediction: W 31-28 (6-3)
Week 11: vs Arizona Cardinals
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
The 49ers aren’t getting swept by the Cardinals this season unless this team is a catastrophic disappointment. Even with a short week, they’ll take care of business.
Prediction: W 38-20 (7-3)
