The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a disappointing 4-12 season. They may be the most unpredictable team in the NFL. With that said, let’s take a look and try to predict the season.

While the San Francisco 49ers were one of the three worst teams in football last season, there are reasons to believe they can rebound to win the NFC West.

That’s not to say their roster doesn’t have holes. In fact, even before injuries there are some major questions.

However, this is both the most talented and healthiest 49ers team entering Week 1 that head coach Kyle Shanahan has had. While everyone is complimentary of the culture Shanahan has built in San Francisco, especially in contrast to the current circus across the Bay, it’s time to win.

Most of the pressure falls on Jimmy Garoppolo‘s shoulders. Earlier in the offseason, I detailed how this is a make or break season for the signal-caller. If he takes the reigns, this 49ers team has the talent (and schedule) to make a run.

So let’s dive in!
