Sleepers: (The players you can get for a great value that may result in returns that are much higher than expected)

Jimmy Garoppolo, QB — The question is if Jimmy Garoppolo is still the breakout player that everyone thought he would be at the beginning of the 2018 season — opinions vary.

Fantasy Pros and its collection of 77 experts rate Garoppolo anywhere from as high as eight to as low as 25th. Many pundits were touting Garoppolo and the end of the 2017 season as proof that he was about to break into the upper echelon of fantasy quarterbacks.

The existence of weapons like top-rated tight end standout George Kittle and the addition of Tevin Coleman in the stable of other dangerous combo backs such as McKinnon and Breida, gives Garoppolo a bevy of weapons without even mentioning his wide-receiver core.

More from San Francisco 49ers

Garoppolo is currently going around pick 133 according to Fantasy Pros. For fantasy players who wait on quarterbacks, Garoppolo is a good value in the later rounds of your fantasy draft to target for high upside.

Tevin Coleman, RB — In Atlanta, Tevin Coleman was the big-play receiving back that was paired with Devonta Freeman to form one of the best running back tandems in the league.

When asked to shoulder the load when Freeman was hurt, Coleman showed enough ability between the tackles to justify a larger role on a different team. Coleman has a prior connection to Kyle Shanahan and his offensive scheme from his time in Atlanta.

If training camp and the preseason break just right, Coleman could be in line for a large role in the 49ers offense. If you can grab him in the fifth or sixth round as a complement to your main back, you should not hesitate.

Dante Pettis, WR — Dante Pettis is going in the seventh/eighth round in 12-team PPR drafts, Pettis will be the #1 WR in San Francisco and if you believe in Jimmy G being a legitimate starter than Pettis is an enticing option for the mid-rounds of the draft.

ESPN’s Matt Bowen believes that “Pettis could have a breakout season, pushing his way into lineups in all scoring formats as a WR2.”

With teams probably double-teaming Kittle there should be openings for the crisp routes and speed of Pettis.
