Sacramento Kings: An updated look at the projected starting lineup/rotation
By Justin Fried
The Second Unit
The Kings appear to have a very solid starting five, and they managed to accomplish such without ignoring their bench depth. For the first time in a while, the Kings might be able to go 10-deep in their rotation, with the potential for even more contributors.
Sacramento appeared to have secured their backup point guard when they signed former Indiana Pacers guard Cory Joseph to a three-year, $37 million contract. Joseph will be a perfect fit for the Kings fast-paced offense and also brings with him solid perimeter defending skills

Bogdan Bogdanovic will return and should serve as the primary scorer off the bench backing up Hield at the two-guard. Much like so many others on this roster, another year of development could do wonders for the Serbian-born Bogdanovic.
The signing of Trevor Ariza helps give the Kings some added depth behind Barnes at small forward and continues the trend of long-range shooting threats on the roster. Nemanja Bjelica will be back as well and should take on more of a limited role backing up Bagley.
Finally, Harry Giles will continue his development as he waits in the wings serving as the primary big man off the bench. Giles can back up Dedmon for the time being with the hope being that he could eventually take over for the older center if he could continue to grow into a starting-caliber player.
