The 2015 NBA draft order is now set!
On Tuesday, May 19th, former player and now Kings VP of basketball operations, Vlade Divac, was in New York representing his team during the lottery reveal. Sacramento finished in the lottery once again with a 29-53 record, giving them a 6.3% chance at the N0.1 overall pick.
The numbers were just not in their favor as they will be selecting exactly where they were projected-the Sacramento Kings will be selecting No.6 in this years NBA draft.

In this episode of “The Kings Court,” host Vince Miracle, will be giving his thoughts on the Kings drafting position and on the prospects that could be available at the No.6 spot for Sacramento.
As soon as the draft order was revealed, the consensus among Kings fans and beat writers was Sacramento should select Kentucky forward, Willie-Cauley Stein. While that is the favorite choice for most, the show takes a different approach. Vince will breakdown the reasons on why selecting Willie-Cauley Stein at six would make it a wasted pick for the Sacramento Kings. Also, could there already be a Willie-Cauley Stein type of player on this roster?
To round out the show Vince will give his thoughts on the top-five picks and how he sees it playing out come June 25th. After a stumbling start with the number one pick, the show has this draft taking a slight turn when it comes down to the 5th pick. Could the Orlando Magic pass on Justise Winslow?
Trade or Keep? That is the biggest question that was approached to the show prior to the recording and the show addresses that question with an honest, straightforward answer. The desk will breakdown the pros and cons for the Kings keeping their pick, and then counter with the pros and cons of why trading their draft pick brings in a greater reward.

The possibility of Kentucky small forward Justise Winslow being available could make the decision of trading this pick even more possible. Winslow is considered a top-five talent, and if he slips to six, the Kings’ draft pick becomes a highly sought after pick for teams that truly believe Justise Winslow is a future star. At the same time, can the Kings General Manager Pete D’Allessandro pass on a talent like Winslow if he falls?
Many believe D’Allessandro is on a very short leash with the Kings’ franchise right now, making every move around draft time more interesting to watch.
These moves could be the moves that make or break the career of Pete D’Allessandro. Okay, Okay, maybe that is a bit dramatic to say. But the rumors of the team’s interest in moving Vlade Divac into the GM roll is a real thing, so it is a legitimate situation to watch.
