#1: Andrew Susac – Susac started the 2015 season with Triple-A Sacramento after sustaining a wrist injury during Spring Training that put him on the depth chart behind Hector Sanchez. Before being promoted back to San Francisco, Susac was batting .350 in 20 at-bats, with three doubles, and one RBI for Sacramento.

Since his promotion to the big club, he’s batting .286 in 21 at-bats, with a double, home run, and two RBI. Bruce Bochy has been doing his best to give Susac starting time to allow their top prospect to stay fresh and in a rhythm while on the roster.
It is believed by many that Susac will become the everyday catcher in the future, while shifting Buster Posey to first base — or possibly even third base — which would mean shifting Brandon Belt to left field.
We’ve already seen Bochy do this exact defensive setup — Posey to 1B, Belt to LF, Susac to C — already this season, so it seems like something that could come to pass in the not-too-distant future.
