Sacramento Kings Possible Targets for Deadline
By Nick Avila
At 18-34, the Sacramento Kings‘ 2014-2015 season is all but over, when it comes to relevance. But, with 30 games to play, there’s no reason for the Kings to roll over for their opponents. They need to use the rest of this season as a stepping-stone for next year, whennew head coach George Karl will have a full season with the reigns.
The front office also should look to improve the Kings for the future and they should be looking into that right now. With the trade deadline tomorrow at 12 p.m. PST, there are some viable targets at the trade deadline Sacramento could look at in order to begin their push back into contention.

While there are rumors of the Boston Celtics being interested in DeMarcus Cousins, there isn’t much proof that would say the Kings are even picking up calls from Boston. Cousins, who appeared in his first All-Star appearance on Sunday, has been Mr. Untouchable.
However, many on the roster remain fair game and there are trade rumors swirling with names like Nik Stauskas and Jason Thompson being thrown around. The real question, though, is what players could help the Kings not only in the present, but as well as in the future?
