San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints Live Game Thread
In Week 10 of the NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers will take on the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans today at 10 AM PT. The game can be seen on FOX.
This is an intriguing matchup of two teams who both have 4-4 records. Despite their similarity in records, one team is on the rise, and the other team is struggling to find an identity.
The Saints have won two games in a row, with those two wins coming against the Green Bay Packers at home and the Carolina Panthers on the road. The Saints started off the season going 0-2 with losses on the road to the Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns.
They then went 2-2 in the next stretch of four games, with wins coming at home against the Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the losses coming on the road against the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions.

There’s certainly a trend for the Saints, in terms of wins and losses. All but one of their wins have come at home. The Saints are a much better team in front of their loud, energetic home crowd, so the 49ers have their work cut out for them today.
Not only do the 49ers have to deal with a Saints team that has won two games in a row and play them on the road, but the 49ers are coming off of two consecutive losses against the Denver Broncos on the road and the St. Louis Rams at home.
The 49ers started off the season with a road win against the Dallas Cowboys, and then they lost two games in a row, one at home against the Chicago Bears and one on the road against the Arizona Cardinals.
After that, the 49ers won three games in a row, two at home against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs and one on the road against the Rams, before those two consecutive losses in the past two weeks.
The 49ers have not lost three games in a row in the Jim Harbaugh era. Will the 49ers overcome the odds and come up with a big win on the road today?
