Draymond Green Trade Comments Spark Speculation Among Warriors Fans

The blockbuster trade between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks sent shockwaves through the NBA landscape. The fact that the Mavs willingly traded one of the best players in the league in his prime was a stark reminder that everything is possible in the NBA. There are no untouchable players or a trade scenario too far-fetched.
Since the Luka Doncic deal, the Golden State Warriors have changed their tune about a potential big trade. Only a few weeks ago, Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Steve Kerr were all saying that the team shouldn't make a desperate move and jeopardize the future of the franchise. Over the last few days, however, the reporting and statements from the organization have a different bend to it.
Draymond Green's remarks after the game on Monday, as reported by Warriors insider Anthony Slater, were the perfect example of that.

Draymond Green Teases Blockbuster Warriors Trade That Potentially Includes Him
After the Warriors' win over the Orlando Magic on Monday night, Green said he expects owner Joe Lacob to be aggressive at the deadline. He added that everything was possible after the Doncic trade and the Warriors organization must be pissed sitting at .500.
His tone during these remarks was notable. After revealing his expectation that the team will be aggressive, he added that he "understands" and "respects" it.
"You got to expect that they are going to be aggressive. It's not an organization that is going to do anything dumb but they are going to look to be aggressive. And I understand it, I respect it. "

This was understandably interpreted by Warriors fans as Green teasing a potential departure ahead of the deadline. Perhaps Green is aware of trade discussions happening that involve him and has accepted his fate as the next All-Star to be traded in this crazy week in the NBA.
Regardless of whether Green will be included in a trade or not, it's obvious that the Warriors front office is having serious conversations about improving the roster before Thursday. Let's wait and see what's in store for Golden State over the next few days.
