The San Francisco 49ers have made a long list of moves this offseason after a disappointing season. They have released players like Javon Hargrave, Leonard Floyd, Kyle Juszczyk, and Maliek Collins, while trading away Deebo Samuel.
The 49ers also saw multiple key players sign elsewhere. That list includes Aaron Banks, Talanoa Hufanga, Jaylon Moore, Charvarius Ward, and Isaac Yiadom.
While those losses will be felt, fan favorite Dre Greenlaw also left town. He signed a three-year, $35 million deal with the Denver Broncos. After spending his entire six-year career with the 49ers, he decided it was time for a change of scenery but he posted a heartfelt message to the fanbase on his Instagram account.
Greenlaw wrote, "Love yall a ton faithful hate it didn't turn out and I couldn't give you that 6th ring but I'm beyond blessed to have been apart of this franchise for 6 seasons."

Dre Greenlaw Post Goodbye to 49ers
Greenlaw added, "I will forever cherish the opportunity to play with the best LB in football Fred Warner. The bond me and Fred created can never be broken. I'll forever be grateful for you brother. I will always cherish every moment that was made in that building. Love everybody in that organization from the bottom of my heart."
Greenlaw and Warner formed one of the top LB duos in the league. Warner also posted a goodbye message to his former teammate.
Greenlaw came into the league as a fifth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The 27-year-old developed into a quality playmaker at the second level alongside Warner. He recorded 455 total tackles, 18 TFLs, nine QB hits, and 14 pass deflections in 64 games with the 49ers.
The Arkansas product tore his Achilles during the Super Bowl LVIII loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He rehabbed tirelessly to get back onto the field and suited in two games for the 49ers in 2024.
Although he's no longer a 49er, he still has a ton of love for the organization and the fanbase.
