The San Francisco 49ers are looking ahead to the 2025 season and hope they are in the playoffs when January comes around.

They have made sweeping changes to the roster, but still have some key guys in the fold. Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir is one of those players, and he took a shot at Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker on Instagram.

The Seahawks posted a picture of Walker pushing Lenoir to the ground on a fake Madden 26 cover. Lenoir then reposted the picture on his story with the caption, "Still gone smack his cone head a**."

Deommodore Lenoir Has Message for Kenneth Walker

The rivalry between the 49ers and the Seahawks is one of the most intense ones in the league. These teams have a true hatred for each other, and you can see that in Lenoir's response.

Real games don't start until September, but these two sides won't have to wait long to face off. The 49ers travel to play the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 to kick off the 2025 season.

Even though Robert Saleh is back at defensive coordinator, Lenoir is someone who is expected to play a big role. Last November, he inked a five-year, $92 million extension. The 49ers paid him to be a part of their future after stacking up positive campaigns.

In 62 career games (47 starts), Lenoir has compiled 265 total tackles, 26 pass breakups, and six interceptions. During the 2024 season, he posted a 67.3 overall grade and a 71.7 coverage grade per PFF.

Meanwhile, in eight career games against Seattle, he has logged 32 solo tackles, and he can't wait to add another one when bringing Walker to the ground.

It'll be a long couple of months before football is officially back, but this Week 1 showdown already has some spice to it.
