The San Francisco 49ers are into the second week of training camp practices, and things have gone up a notch after putting on pads.

The 49ers have been dealing with a lot of moving parts this offseason, which has recently seen WR Jauan Jennings go down with a calf injury. He's listed as day-to-day, but that's what the grind of training camp does. Battles are happening all over the field, and it looks like Trent Williams has been on the receiving end of some losses lately at the hands of Nick Bosa.

Trent Williams Has Shown Frustrations During 49ers Practice

According to The Athletic's Matt Barrows, Williams has shown some frustration in practice after getting continually beat by Bosa.

Barrows wrote, "Nick Bosa is beating Trent Williams a lot of the time. Trent Williams yesterday had a big reaction after a move-the-ball period that was dominated by Nick Bosa, and the offense was stopped by Nick Bosa. Trent Williams came off the field and was exasperated. Like banged his thigh and you could just tell he was frustrated."

Granted, it's understandable for anyone to struggle against Bosa, who is fourth in the league in sacks (62.5) since his rookie campaign. Still, this still isn't the report fans want to read about their LT, who's paid to stop anyone from the average to the elite from getting to his quarterback.

Offensive linemen are able to play in their mid-to-late 30s at a high level, which Williams has displayed. In his age 32-35 seasons with San Francisco, Williams was a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time First-Team All-Pro.

However, he's now Williams 37 years old and entering his 15th year in the NFL, so it wouldn't be a major suprise if Father Time is starting to finally catch up to him after putting a ton of miles on his tires.

The 49ers are used to Williams being an anchor at the left side, but everyone takes a step back eventually. San Francisco sure hopes that isn't the case this year for Williams, who may just be working through some early-camp rust after a long offseason.

If he continues to play like this the rest of camp, though, it'll raise suspicions that he may actually regress in 2025.
