The San Francisco 49ers have a collection of excellent young talent on their roster. We take a look at the top five building blocks currently on the team.

As the 2020 NFL offseason continues to the mosey along amid this crippling pandemic, many observers of the sport are still putting their fantasy teams together as well as their projected final 55-man rosters.

Sticking with that theme, we’ll be delving into the top five building blocks currently on the San Francisco 49ers roster. With an average age of 25-years-old, San Francisco finds itself in a great position to enjoy sustained success.

Are they going to? Only time will tell.

When you think about the 49ers and the type of season they’re coming off of, it’s only natural to become filled with pure joy and excitement regarding their future success.

A future that seems extremely bright because of such a young, talented roster led by an innovative head coach in Kyle Shanahan.

Despite letting go of some key players such as DeForest Buckner via a trade with the Indianapolis Colts and veteran wideout Emmanuel Sanders via free agency, the 49ers still seem poised to make another deep playoff run.

They’ll be returning an astounding 20 of 22 starters from the 2019 season which is a huge deal because of the importance of chemistry, continuity, and familiarity.

It’s important to a young team that is still learning how to be champions, a team that not only features a handful of superstars but players who can also be considered as building blocks on the roster.
