San Jose Sharks re-sign or decline: All unrestricted free agent forwards

The San Jose Sharks have some decisions to make this offseason in regards to re-signing a few forwards. Let’s take a look at which ones the team should re-sign and which ones they should “decline.”
This coming offseason, the San Jose Sharks have a total of nine unrestricted free agents (UFAs) that they need to decide whether to re-sign or let walk. Of these nine UFAs, five are forwards, three are defensemen, and one is a goalie.
In this piece, I’ll be giving my opinion on whether or not the Sharks should re-sign each of their five pending UFA forwards.
None of the names of these players are very important to the team. In fact, the most notable player is 40-year-old center, Joe Thornton.
However, every one of these forwards played at least three games in the NHL in the 2019-20 season, with 26-year-old center, Jonny Brodzinki only playing three games.
Although these forwards aren’t the greatest in the NHL, every decision that the Sharks make this offseason and any day impacts the current team and the future of the organization.
With that being said, let’s start this San Jose Sharks’ forwards edition of “Re-sign or Decline.”
