1. October 28th @ New Orleans Pelicans

After having started the season with two consecutive losses, the Warriors needed a bounce-back win versus the New Orleans Pelicans. The Warriors started the game with one of their most intriguing lineups, and it benefited in the end.

Stephen Curry led the way for Golden State as he scored a team-high 26 points and dished out eleven assists. D’Angelo Russell contributed 24 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds to the game and showed the world what could have been with this tandem as they unknowingly played their last full game together.

Aside from the backcourt’s performance, Draymond Green made headlines with a monstrous triple-double. The forward concluded with a stat-line of 16 points, ten assists, and seventeen rebounds as he made his presence felt everywhere on the court that night.

The trio of Damion Lee, Jordan Poole, and Glenn Robinson III also contributed significantly as they combined for 48 points. Lee was responsible for a large chunk of that with 23 points, but Poole’s 13 and Robinson’s 12 helped down the stretch.

Six players from New Orleans scored in double figures, but Golden State held them off and secured their first win of the season with a 134-123 victory.
