2. March 3rd @ Denver Nuggets

Headed into the Mile High City to face the then second-seeded Denver Nuggets, the Warriors once again seemed outmatched. With a handful of players sidelined due to injury, the Warriors needed to rely on some fresh faces to get the job done.

Andrew Wiggins led the way for Golden State as he dropped 22 points and a team-high ten assists as he played stellar basketball. Rookie standout Eric Paschall contributed significantly as well as the forward also scored 22 points and also collected five rebounds and five assists off the bench.

Paschall was not the only Warriors player to have a fantastic game off the bench as Jordan Poole and Dragan Bender both impacted the game as well. Poole finished with 15 points and six assists, and Bender scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds to provide a significant boost.

Starters Marquese Chriss and Mychal Mulder produced as well, with Chriss having scored 16 points and Mulder with 15. Overall, six different Golden State players scored in double figures, which elevated the Warriors over the Nuggets to win 116-100.

It was a stunning game as the shorthanded Warriors delivered against the top-heavy Denver Nuggets. The team’s all-around performance was sensational, good enough to be the team’s second-best game of the season.
