The Golden State Warriors were having a rough season before the league-wide hiatus but still put on some incredible performances throughout 65 games.

This season for the Golden State Warriors was a less than memorable one if this is indeed the end of it. Currently stopped due to COVID-19, the team possesses the worst record throughout the entire league at an abysmal 15-50.

After five straight appearances in the NBA Finals and three championships, nobody could have predicted this turn of events. Even with the departure of Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets, the Warriors received an All-Star in D’Angelo Russell to try and fill the void via sign and trade.

Still, injuries plagued the team severely and caused them to struggle all year as several vital pieces missed time.

Although everyone knew Klay Thompson was likely not going to play at all this year, the broken left hand sustained by two-time MVP Stephen Curry genuinely sunk this team.

Now the Warriors were without both members of their dynamic backcourt, something unrecognizable for many years.

Although their record says otherwise, this season was not all bad for Golden State, as there were several positive takeaways here and there. The Warriors brought in a plethora of young faces as the season progressed, and several made their case to be in the team’s future plans.

For a team that only had 15 wins, there were significant signs of potential for them moving forward before the stoppage. Taking a look back at the season, here are the three best games for the Warriors in 2019-20 before the hiatus.
