No. 6 — No. 11

Oregon. Justin Herbert. 6. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. player. 13

The Dolphins passing on Justin Herbert leaves the door open for the Chargers to select their replacement for longtime quarterback Philip Rivers.

Herbert is a great pro prospect who has been gaining momentum since his performance at the NFL Combine. This is a great fit for the franchise and the player.

LB. Clemson. Isaiah Simmons. 7. Pick Analysis. player. 87. Scouting Report

The Carolina Panthers have the unenviable task of trying to rebuild their defense after the surprising retirement of All-Pro Luke Kuechly.

While there has been speculation that the team could draft a quarterback, their recent decision to shop Cam Newton and sign Teddy Bridgewater seems to have ended that possibility.

Expect Carolina to use the seventh pick on Simmons.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Alabama. Jedrick Wills Jr.. 8. player. 32

The Arizona Cardinals’ have fully committed to Kyler Murray as the leader of their franchise. Every young quarterback needs two important things — a play-making receiver and solid protection.

Arizona acquired the star receiver in a recent trade for DeAndre Hopkins. Adding Wills (who can play either left or right tackle) would help give Murray the time he needs.

Must Read. The Raiders haven’t given up on Derek Carr just yet. light

Auburn. 9. player. 52. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Derrick Brown. DL

The Jaguars defense led the team to the AFC Championship Game in 2018. However, after a disastrous 2019 campaign, it is important for the franchise to refocus on the unit that has led them to past success.

Brown, in combination with 2018 first-round pick Josh Allen, will give the team a dangerous pass-rushing tandem.

OT. Louisville. Mekhi Becton. player. 53. Scouting Report. 10. Pick Analysis

The Cleveland Browns have already added top free agents Austin Hooper and Jack Conklin to aid their quarterback Baker Mayfield. Despite having Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, and Nick Chubb at his disposal, Mayfield threw a concerning 21 interceptions in this sophomore season.

Why not add another great lineman in the form of Mekhi Becton to give the former No. 1 pick time to make better decisions?

Georgia. 30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Andrew Thomas. 11. player

The New York Jets, just like the Cardinals and Browns, have a top quarterback prospect in Sam Darnold. They should invest in protection.
