The Las Vegas Raiders will be looking to make some moves in free agency this offseason. And a few recently released veterans could make intriguing targets.

The Las Vegas Raiders will be in the market searching for free-agent deals this offseason in hopes of constructing a roster that can take that next step towards playoff contention in 2020.

But while some of the top names on the market will undoubtedly be targets for the silver and black — Byron Jones, Cory Littleton, Robby Anderson, etc. — so too will some of the lower-profile players.

General manager Mike Mayock nailed his first draft class as general manager of the Raiders, but the jury is still out on him as a smart shopper in free agency. This offseason will be critical as he looks to gear the Raiders up for playoff contention.

Mayock will need to explore all options if he wants to improve this roster and he’s been given a few additional opportunities in the form of some recently released players.

With free agency right around the corner, some NFL teams have opted to cut some of the overpriced veterans on their roster to create cap space. We saw the Raiders do this just a few days ago with Tahir Whitehead.

But could the Raiders cash in on a few of these recently released players? Here are three of them the team could look to target.
