Predicting the QB carousel and how it will affect the Raiders and 49ers

Veterans staying put
Derek Carr: Las Vegas Raiders (With Marcus Mariota)
Who could have imagined that the Raiders would be the team to keep their starter? While the 49ers make the radical move at quarterback, Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock will take the path of least resistance and stick with Derek Carr.
With each passing week, it seems as though Las Vegas is warming to the idea of retaining Carr. While they have acknowledged the fact that they will make any transaction that helps the team improve, Mayock has also publicly praised the team’s longtime starter.
As a bonus prediction, I believe that the recent reports of the Raiders showing interest in Marcus Mariota will prove to be true. The team will add a quality backup and even pressure Carr by adding the former Titans’ top pick.

Dak Prescott: Dallas Cowboys
While the Cowboys made the decision to commit major money to running back Ezekiel Elliott, the team will also find a way to retain their franchise quarterback.
At the end of the day, the Cowboys’ best option is to stick with Dak Prescott as their franchise leader. It is also unlikely that Prescott finds a more ideal fit than Dallas.
Both sides will eventually make the most sensible call by coming to their mutually beneficial conclusion.
Cam Newton: Carolina Panthers:
The days of Cam Newton leading the Carolina Panthers feel like they are beginning to come to an end.
However, the split will not occur this offseason. Look for the Panthers’ new regime to give Newton one more season to prove that he is healthy and capable of recapturing his former MVP form.
