By Allen Settle
The NFL’s annual QB carousel is expected to be very interesting this year, and both the Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers could be a part of it.
The 2020 NFL free agency period is one of the most interesting in recent memory. There are always a number of intriguing players available at each position. However, this particular class features a dozen interesting quarterbacks — many of whom are expected to change teams.
Fans in the Bay Area — and now Las Vegas — are paying extra close attention to the movement, as each franchise has been connected with potential changes.
The Las Vegas Raiders have been the subject of much speculation, showing interest in multiple players. It seems as though there is a legitimate chance that the team moves away from longtime starter Derek Carr.
The San Francisco 49ers, on the other hand, have been surprisingly noteworthy. Despite the fact that their current signal-caller was able to lead the team to the Super Bowl last season, rumors about a possible union with future Hall of Famer Tom Brady are picking up steam.
As the dominos begin to fall, let’s take a look at how the quarterback carousel could affect the Bay Area, Las Vegas, and the league as a whole.
