Raiders: 3 internal free agents who the team should re-sign
By Justin Fried
2. Daryl Worley, CB
Like Jordan, Daryl Worley is never going to be confused for a superstar at his position. He isn’t a shutdown No. 1 cornerback who is going to be at the top of the Pro Bowl ballot each season.

But that doesn’t mean that he can’t be a valuable piece of the Raiders’ defensive puzzle.
Worley was simply average in 2019 finishing with a middle-of-the-pack Pro Football Focus grade of 64.0. Nothing amazing, but nothing awful either.
In reality, Worley is likely a low-tier No. 2 cornerback or a No. 3 option on a good defense, but at just 25-years-old, he’s still a reliable player who the Raiders should look to bring back in 2020.
General manager Mike Mayock has spoken about upgrading the position in the offseason and the team certainly wants to see Trayvon Mullen take the next step in 2020. But re-signing Worley gives the team extra insurance at a weak position group.
As long as his market isn’t outrageous, Worley should be back next season.
