San Francisco Giants: A complete fantasy baseball guide for 2020
By Allen Settle
4. Buster Posey, C
When to Target: Undrafted
No fantasy baseball rankings list would be complete without Buster Posey. The former National League MVP is still fantasy relevant, even as he enters the twilight of his career.

While his days of All-Star appearances, .300+ batting averages, and 100+ RBI are well in his past, Posey still figures to make an impact at a valuable position.
Posey is projected to hit double-digit home runs while hitting between .266 and .281 at the plate. He should be on the radar of any manager who chooses to pass on the top catchers in order to stream the position.
While the former star should not be relied upon as an everyday player, he could still hold value based on his matchups.
The fact that San Francisco has elected not to add another legitimate option at catcher also speaks to the fact that the team intends to protect Posey’s at-bats.
He is currently the 13th best catcher according to ESPN and the 300th best player on MLB.com.
Honorable Mentions:
Wilmer Flores, Hunter Pence, Brandon Belt, Evan Longoria, Brandon Crawford, Mauricio Dubon, Johnny Cueto
