San Francisco 49ers 7-Round Mock Draft: Targeting a first-round running back

The San Francisco 49ers are now in full-on offseason mode which means that it’s time to look forward to the 2020 NFL Draft to see what the team could do.
As the dust settles after a crushing Super Bowl loss, the San Francisco 49ers can now officially turn their attention to the offseason’s most important event, the 2020 NFL Draft.
While the franchise is undoubtedly heartbroken by a narrow loss on football’s biggest stage, the Niners have a fresh opportunity to add to their roster as they pursue a return trip to the championship game in 2021.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch have done an amazing job of building a complete NFL roster. As made evident by their presence in the Super Bowl, the team has very few weaknesses.
However, they are not completely without flaws.
San Francisco would be wise to invest some of their draft capital on the following areas of need (in order of importance): WR, CB, RB, EDGE, and OL.
