Raiders: 3 wide receivers who are shining at the 2020 Senior Bowl
By Justin Fried
1. Denzel Mims, Baylor
There may be no receiver who has flashed more in Mobile so far than Baylor’s Denzel Mims. Mims has been a fixture in the Baylor offense for the last three years and he owns two 1,000-yard seasons to his name.

And this week at the Senior Bowl, he likely made himself some extra money with a standout performance.
Much like Pittman, Mims has an insane catch radius with strong hands and excellent tracking ability that allows him to wrestle the ball away in most one-on-one situations. But unlike Pittman, Mims has no trouble using his speed to get downfield in a hurry.
The major knock on him going into this week has been his route-running and his tendency for the occasional drop but those issues have subsided in Mobile.
Mims has flashed in more ways than one and there’s an argument to make that he’s been the quickest riser out of any player at the Senior Bowl this week.
He’s flashed his quick release and separation ability downfield on top of his usual contested catches. Mims could quickly find himself in Round 1 consideration, but it’s still more likely he remains a Day 2 option.
For the Raiders, however, Mims would be excellent value if they could trade into Round 2 or if he managed to fall to Round 3.
