1. CeeDee Lamb — Oklahoma

If Jerry Jeudy is the consensus top receiver in this year’s class, CeeDee Lamb surely isn’t too far behind him.

More from Golden Gate Sports

The Oklahoma product is an elite offensive playmaker with exceptional body control and contested-catch ability. He’s as physical as they come and is one of the bets pure route-runners in the entire class.

Lamb is a RAC monster, a dominant physical presence, and very likely has the best catch radius out of any receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft class. And it’s no surprise that many have likened him to Houston Texans star DeAndre Hopkins.

He doesn’t have superb straight-line speed and no one is going to confuse him with Tyreek Hill, but he more than makes up for it with the other aspects of his game.

Some have criticized the competition he went up against facing Big 12 defenses that aren’t exactly known for their stinginess. But he has the traits, production, and projection that leave scouts with very little to complain about.

Lamb is as technically-refined as any receiver in this class and displays truly dominant traits. He’s a No. 1 wide receiver waiting to be unleashed on the NFL world and the Raiders would be incredibly fortunate to see him fall all the way to No. 12 overall.

It’s not a guarantee that he’s on the board when they select, but it seems very unlikely that the Raiders let him slip past pick No. 12.
