How do the San Francisco Giants improve their roster? These are the top five free agents the team should target this offseason.

After an unusually slow MLB offseason in 2018-2019, it seems as though the ‘Hot Stove’ is burning again in 2019-2020. While top free agents Gerrit Cole and Anthony Rendon have both accepted offers with new teams, there are still heaps of notable players available.

As the San Francisco Giants attempt to return to their winning ways this season, it is imperative that they address several weaknesses on their roster.

The team would especially benefit from adding a legitimate outfielder. They also have holes in their infield and that the backup catcher position.

The team’s roster depth took another major hit when news that Madison Bumgarner is officially headed to the rival Arizona Diamondbacks, leaving the team with significant holes in their rotation.
