The San Jose Sharks will perhaps always remember the 2010s as a decade of near-misses. But with a heap of legendary talent, let’s take a look at who makes their All-Decade Team.

The San Jose Sharks have been a franchise of almosts and close calls. For years, they have fallen just short of reaching the top of the NHL mountain and the 2010s were no different.

With the exception of the 2014-15 season, the Sharks made the playoffs every single year of the decade but never once could they win hockey’s ultimate prize, the Stanley Cup.

They did manage to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals in one season, but of course, their bid for greatness fell short at the hands of a dominant Pittsburgh Penguins team.

Still, despite their constant shortcomings, the Sharks leave this decade with a heck of a lot of impressive players to show for it.

Some of the greatest players to ever don a teal jersey played for the Sharks in the 2010s. These players, most of which are still active, will one day see their jerseys hang high above the rafters in SAP Center.

But for now, all we could do is commemorate them for their extraordinary success in an inconsequential list on the internet.

With that, let’s take a look at the San Jose Sharks All-Decade Team for the 2010s.
