PF: Marvin Bagley III

The power forward is admittedly the weakest position on the King’s 2010 All-Decade team. While Marvin Bagley is certainly a promising player with a bright future, the fact that a 20-year-old player qualifies for a starting position tells you everything you need to know about the state of the position over the past ten years.

A few of the top competitors for this spot included Carl Landry, Jason Thompson, and Harrison Barnes. While each brings something unique to the table, each had a history of either minimal production or short tenures with the team.

More from All-Time Lists

Landry (10.1) and Thompson (9.4) both had low point averages while Barnes has only been a King since the 2018-2019 season. Based on his production and potential stardom, Bagley edges out the competition to claim his starting spot.

Most people that are familiar with the Kings fully expect that Bagley will be on the team’s All-Decade team in the 2020s as well.

The bouncy second overall pick seems primed for a bright career in NorCal. Bagley’s rookie campaign included averages 14.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game on his way to an NBA All-Rookie First Team selection.

If he continues to develop and maintains a good relationship with the team, Bagley has the potential to join Chris Webber on the list of elite Kings power forwards.

Honorable Mention: Carl Landry
