Foster Moreau, TE

Foster Moreau has had a rather slow four-game stretch, as has the entire Raiders offense. He has caught a total of four catches for 26 yards and a touchdown in the past four games.

Moreau has been a solid blocker all season long and that hasn’t changed during the third quarter of the season.

With Darren Waller being keyed in on ever since he broke onto the scene early in the season, his production has dipped a bit, so it would be nice to see Moreau have his number called in the passing game more often as his hands have proven reliable.

While Moreau’s stats are mediocre, he has played his role well and can only produce if called upon which he hasn’t been very often.

Hunter Renfrow, WR

After what looked like could be his breakout game against the Houston Texans, Hunter Renfrow followed that game up with a few more solid performances proving that it most likely was.

Renfrow caught six receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown against the Detroit Lions. His lone touchdown was the game-winner where he toe-tapped along the sideline to reel in the bullet pass from Derek Carr.

Following that game, he caught four passes for 42 yards against the Chargers, five receptions for 66 yards against the Bengals and three catches for 31 yards against the New York Jets.

Renfrow seemed to of not only got up to NFL speed, but was becoming Carr’s go-to receiver.

It seems that chemistry between Carr and Renfrow will be coming to a halt as Renfrow suffered a punctured lung and broken rib against the Jets.

Renfrow actually toughed it out and played the remainder of the game following his injury which of course will gain him respect from players, coaches, and fans alike.

It is unfortunate that the injury happened when he was finally starting to find his groove, but it is still possible he returns for the last game or two according to head coach Jon Gruden.

Either way, Renfrow’s past four games have been four of his five best games so far this season, so this was definitely the best stretch in his young career.
