The Oakland Raiders still have plenty of holes on their roster and could look to fill some of them in the 2020 NFL Draft. Here are three positions they should target in the first round of the upcoming draft.
The Oakland Raiders have performed significantly better than most people expected heading into the season. And that’s doubly true given the media backlash that dominated the headlines leading into the year.
The Raiders have shown that they are ahead of schedule with their proposed rebuild and even if they fall short of the postseason this year, there’s still plenty of promising things to look forward to.
Much of the team’s success this season has come courtesy of a talented 2019 NFL Draft class under first-year general manager Mike Mayock that has impressed this season.
That said, there are still holes on the roster that need fixing and it’s likely that the Raiders look to this upcoming draft to fill many of those holes. The Raiders need improvements at a variety of positions and fortunately, they should have the ammunition to make it work.
With two first-round picks and three third-round picks at the time of writing, the Raiders have no shortage of draft capital to make a few late-April splashes.
