The San Francisco 49ers are 9-1 with their sights set on a deep postseason run. With a roster full of standouts, here are five players who could make the Pro Bowl this season.

The San Francisco 49ers are expected to be well represented in this year’s Pro Bowl with a roster featuring some of the best players at their position in the NFL.

And while the 49ers will absolutely have their sights set on a much larger goal, it’s still fun to theorize and predict which players could earn a hypothetical trip to Hawaii this January.

The official Pro Bowl ballot was released this past week and it’s very likely that we see a number of 49ers begin to dominate the rankings. Expect to see a good chunk of the team’s defense receive recognition with a few players elsewhere receiving some substantial votes.

Our list will only consist of five players who are more than deserving of consideration, but there are still others who should see some votes come their way.

On defense, players like DeForest Buckner, Dee Ford, and Fred Warner have been exceptional this season but aren’t as likely to earn the Pro Bowl nod as some of the others on our list.

And on offense, you have players such as Weston Richburg, Emmanuel Sanders, and even Laken Tomlinson who have played well, but will need considerable help to earn the nod.

Then, of course, you could always throw Jimmy Garoppolo into consideration given the past precedent that has been set for quarterbacks in the Pro Bowl.

Regardless, here are the five 49ers players who are most likely to make the Pro Bowl this season.
