4. Derek Carr, QB

Entering the 2019 season, the Raiders faced a lot of uncertainty with the future of their roster. And there was perhaps no position left with more uncertainty than the quarterback position.

Despite this, Derek Carr has come out and managed to put together his best season since his brilliant 2016 campaign a few years back. While he’s not lighting up any scoreboards, Carr has been incredibly efficient completing over 70 percent of his passes.

The Fresno State product has tossed just four interceptions on the year to go along with 14 touchdowns and 2,202 passing yards. Again, not MVP-caliber numbers, but it’s been proven in the past that quarterbacks don’t need to put up massive numbers to make a Pro Bowl.

Carr made the Pro Bowl back in 2017 after throwing for just 3,496 yards and 22 touchdowns to combine with 13 interceptions and a low 62% completion percentage. Even Tyrod Taylor made a Pro Bowl back in 2015 with a stat line that was rather unimpressive.

If the Raiders aren’t playing meaningful games in late-January, which there’s a good chance they’re not, Carr could make a very interesting case to qualify for the fourth Pro Bowl of his career.

At this point in the season, it seems like there’s no doubt who will be the franchise signal-caller heading into Las Vegas next year.
