Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson being injured is one of the main reasons why the Warriors have such a lack of wing depth. He will obviously be a starter once he is back and fully healthy.

He’ll give the Warriors exactly what he’s been giving them all these years, which is elite level shooting and high-level perimeter defense.

In the playoffs — which is where Thompson will play most of his minutes — he’ll be playing around 36 minutes per game excluding blowouts.

If the Warriors get deeper into the playoffs then you can expect to see Thompson on the court even more than that, considering the lack of depth in his position.

He’ll also see a fair amount of minutes at small forward when he comes back to accommodate D’Angelo Russell and Stephen Curry being on the court together.

Verdict: Second star, 32-38 minutes per game
