The Golden State Warriors wing depth has been spoken about in NBA season previews as a real weak point for the team. Let’s take a look at what the team is working with.

The Golden State Warriors have a lot of young wings (shooting guards and small forwards) who they could use but they cannot take all of them on to their regular-season roster at the moment because there are too many.

Looking specifically at the shooting guards they have, let’s break down what each one gives them and what role the Warriors should use them in this season.

Disclaimer: the modern era of the NBA promotes positionless basketball so it is impossible to pigeonhole players like this. For the purpose of this list, however, we’ll be using what ESPN’s official roster list says the player is.

Special mention goes to D’Angelo Russell at this point because he will start at shooting guard and probably play significant minutes there, however, he is generally considered a point guard, so is not included in this list.
