1. Try to contain Aaron Rodgers

This is something that seems very obvious, but Aaron Rodgers can easily ruin a game if you’re on the other end.

Rodgers is an elite quarterback in the National Football League. He could very easily tear any defense apart, which could cause plenty of concern for the Raiders coaching staff.

Basically, Rodgers is one of those players who is always going to do what he does. For that reason, the Raiders need to minimize Rodgers the best they can.

However, slowing Rodgers down is easier said than done. Rodgers is athletic enough to extend plays, which is hard to stop. Then, there’s the fact he can throw a real nice hail mary if the situation arises.

There’s also the fact that he has the uncanny ability to put the ball in the perfect spot even if the receiver isn’t open. Sounds easy to stop, right?

It also doesn’t help that Oakland doesn’t have the best defensive backs. In fact, it’s cause for concern because Rodgers could exploit that all day long. That could cause Raiders fans to have a lot of headaches throughout the game.

The only logical way to try to contain Rodgers is to get enough pressure to force him to throw the ball earlier than he wants. That means Clelin Ferrell will need to get a good pass rush against the Green Bay offensive line.

The other part of the formula will be extremely good defensive back play, which means they’ll need to cover for a very long amount of time. Again, this is easier said than done.
