3. Get off to a strong start

This is always important when playing on the road, so it only makes sense for it to be on this list. It’s imperative that the Raiders start well otherwise this game could be over as quickly as it started.

Lambeau Field will be rocking too, which is why it’s even more important to silence the fans in attendance right away. Otherwise, the game could get very weird for Oakland from the start.

However, there’s also the chance that the Raiders could be a little bit rusty since they wouldn’t have played a game in two weeks.

It’s not uncommon for a team to play subpar at the beginning of their next game following the bye week. A defensive three-and-out or any type of a score on their first drive would go a long way towards starting fast.

On Monday Night Football, we saw how jumping on Green Bay would go a long way towards beating them. On the other end of that, the Packers also showed how fast of a start they could get off to when they leaped out to a 17-0 advantage in Week 5.

Not to mention, Aaron Rodgers is going to do what he does, which is just scorch a defense with perfect passes and extending plays.

The game is also a morning game, so if the Raiders will still be lagging since they’re on West Coast time. That could have them sleepwalking through the beginning of it. Again, the bye week followed by a morning game could be a disaster.

If the Raiders want to get a statement win, they’ll need to get off to a strong start.
