This is one of the most controversial rankings that ESPN had. Many people suggested on social media that Klay Thompson should be switched around with Luka Doncic, who was ranked 16th.

Whilst it would be harsh to relegate Doncic to 49th, it would be completely reasonable to have Klay Thompson in the top 20.

He is one of the top two shooters in the league. The other one is his teammate and also the best shooter of all time — we’ll get to him later, of course.

For Thompson, he is capable of being the best player on a medium level team but is the perfect complementary player to a dominant superstar on a championship level team.

His ranking should be around 15-20.
