Stock Neutral: Hunter Renfrow, Trayvon Mullen, Keelan Doss

Hunter Renfrow was on the field for 28 offensive snaps making up 42% of the plays. He was only targeted three times — two of which he caught for a total of 18 yards on the day. His longest play was on the Raiders’ very first drive.

Renfrow caught a bubble screen and sprinted his way along the sideline for 10 yards. His third and final reception went for eight yards on 3rd-and-9 allowing Ingold to have only an easy yard to gain on fourth.

Renfrow has been mostly reliable when thrown too, but many were expecting him to be one of the team’s main targets and Carr’s safety blanket which hasn’t been the case as Renfrow still needs time to adjust to the speed of the NFL as well as get stronger.

With good route-running and soft hands, I expect Renfrow can be that guy everyone hopes he can be. The things he needs to improve on are probably the easiest things to improve on, as adjusting to the speed comes with time and gaining strength just requires him to spend more time in the gym.

Hopefully he will receive more targets and be more involved in the game plan in the coming weeks as he has been reliable when called upon as earlier stated.

Trayvon Mullen only played six defensive snaps and I never noticed him on the field which as a cornerback, is usually a good thing.

He didn’t record a single stat but overall I’d say he is neutral throughout the first quarter of the season as he started out the year rough and improved in the snaps he has gotten since — especially last week against the Vikings where he showed up in run support.

Keelan Doss got his first career reception which went for 14 yards after a nicely ran route. Doss also had a nice downfield block on a 16-yard run by Jacobs in the fourth quarter.

I’d expect Doss to get more and more snaps as the season goes on and it is possible he even becomes the starter considering Trevor Davis who has mostly just been a returner in his four-year career got the start versus the Colts.
