The overall feel of the two offensive units will be different. This may not be a bad thing though as it can disrupt the rhythm of the opposition.
Early on in the season, this plan will definitely have some teething problems but as time wears on and we get into January and February, the Warriors will be used to their new offensive game plan.
At the same time, it should still be difficult for other teams to acclimatize mid-game to the sudden changes of pace and offensive focus.
This could be a real asset when it comes to the playoffs particularly. Over a seven-game series teams will get used to each other’s offenses.
But having a completely different mode of attack will benefit the Warriors greatly as it is just more content that their opponents will have to consider when they are in the film room doing their homework.
