Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers were the second iteration of a LeBron James-led super team. This time replacing Wade and Bosh with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.

Irving took on the high volume scoring role that Wade had and Love took on the rebounding and floor spacing role that Bosh had.

This team was plagued with injuries in its first year and so had to rely heavily on James as Irving and Love both missed time in the later stages of the playoffs in 2015.

That deep playoffs run set the tone for how this Cavaliers team was going to be. They would rely on James heavily even when Irving and Love were healthy — so much so that Love was practically demoted to role player.

Irving was still an important piece however he was just a scorer and mostly just out of pick and roll or isolation.
