  • The Warriors had managed to win a game on the road in Houston and had put on a fantastic performance through the first three quarters of game three back at the Oracle Arena.

The game was as good as over already with eight and a half minutes to go in the fourth with the Warriors up by 23 points. They needed one killer play to ice the game early and Shaun Livingston gave it to them.

With Stephen Curry and Draymond Green trailing the play, and Nick Young and Klay Thompson behind the three-point line, the whole lane was open. James Harden was matched up against Livingston in transition so that’s cannon fodder for the lengthy point guard.

He pulled out a gorgeous in-and-out then a behind-the-back crossover combo move, leaving Harden completely lost. The help was nowhere to be seen allowing Livingston to throw down the vicious flush to put the nail in the coffin, sending the Warriors up 2-1 in the series.
