The Golden State Warriors will enter the 2019-20 season looking for more of an impact from their rookies than in recent memory. Here is an ideal scenario for each Warriors 2019 draft pick.

The Golden State Warriors organization has gone through quite a bit of change over the past few months.

After seeing star shooting guard Klay Thompson go down with a torn ACL in the team’s Game 6 loss to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals, the Warriors subsequently learned that superstar Kevin Durant would be departing in free agency to join the Brooklyn Nets.

The Warriors alleviated the loss a little by executing a sign-and-trade for rising star guard D’Angelo Russell, but the loss of Durant is one that cannot be adequately replaced.

Not to mention the fact that longtime role players — and key pieces of the team’s dynasty — Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston will also not be suiting up for the Warriors next season.

There will be a bunch of new faces and the team will be embarking on some uncharted territory — especially while Thompson is out rehabbing. For that reason, they will be counting on their young talent more than they have in years to step up and fill the roles left vacant by the departed.

Let’s take a look at what would be an idealistic scenario for each of the Warriors three 2019 draft picks.
