The Oakland Raiders emerged as the victors in their Week 1 game against the Denver Broncos. Here are five takeaways from the team’s Monday night victory.

The Oakland Raiders responded to the recent drama securing an opening week victory over the division rival Denver Broncos 24-16.

The score makes it look a lot closer than it really was as the Raiders pretty much controlled the whole game playing well on both sides of the ball and not showing much to criticize.

On top of beating a division rival on opening week and playing great on offense despite not having Antonio Brown, this win was extra meaningful as it will be the last Monday night game played in Oakland at the Coliseum.

There are many things of note the team showed as it was the first time we really got to see the starters play together minus one drive in the preseason, so let’s go over the five biggest takeaways from Week 1.
