Week 12: vs Green Bay Packers

The Packers will be coming off their bye, but the 49ers will also be hosting their third consecutive game at home.

While most NFL fans focused on Mitch Trubisky‘s struggles in the Chicago Bears Week 1 loss to the Green Bay Packers, they probably don’t realize how talented of a defense the Packers have built.

Part of the reason quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been so frustrated with his offense is because the Packers have dedicated much of their roster building to the other side of the ball.

This is set up to be a very good game between two very good teams. Special teams can be the difference in close games like these and I give the edge to the 49ers with Robbie Gould and rookie punter Mitch Wishnowsky.

Prediction: W 35-33 (8-3)
