Oakland Raiders: A timeline of the Antonio Brown experience
September 6, 2019: What else could possibly go wrong?
Everything. Antonio Brown’s ego self-combusts and, boom, here we are — the Raiders’ season is at a turning point without playing a single snap.

The Raiders can carry out their suspension, voiding Brown’s $29,125,000 in contract guarantees, or they can reconcile their relationship with him sometime before opening day when his contract will become guaranteed.
The Raiders, surely, are willing to see past any differences to get Brown onto the field — they believe that he’s the type of athlete that’s worth it, his personality be damned. But what remains to be seen, as always, is whether Brown is willing to get out of his own way.
As of this morning, Brown reportedly issued an “an emotional apology” at a team meeting hoping to make amends with the Raiders, per a tweet by ESPN’s Josina Anderson.
Is Brown for real? We’ll just have to wait and see.
At this point, what else could possibly go wrong?
